Art Wednesday
Hale Woodruff
1900-1980
“Twilight”, 1926
I was surfing through The Chicago Art Institutes site and ran across a piece from Hale Woodruff… I knew nothing about him, but have discovered that he was a semi-influential African-American artist… After some reading and a google search, I wish that could find more from him.
His work, from what I have seen, is very graphical in nature and his usage of color fantastic… I love this piece because it looks the way that I remember a fall evening looking like while growing up in Kansas.
More about Hale Woodruff here.

I had the thought that running on a treadmill is a lot like masturbating; it gets the job done, but it’s just not the same.

I am not going to be one of those people who only talks about work… I will update you if anything interesting happens.

Thanks Joe. I have always dreamed of being a trading card. Nothing like showing me off on the internet,so thousands of people can see it. I had a really great birthday. Thanks
